Principal Location: Heathrow and Surrounding Areas

Employment Type: Full-time, 40 Hours per Week

Pay rate Starts From £15.31.

Contract Status: Temporary to Permanent (Performance-based)

Position Overview

This is a hands-on, community-facing role dedicated to the maintenance and enhancement of local environments. As a Community Ranger, you will serve as a key liaison between the organization and various stakeholders, including local councils, educational institutions, and residents.

Reporting directly to the Line Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that public spaces remain clean, green, and safe, while fostering positive relationships within the Heathrow area.

Core Responsibilities

  • Environmental Maintenance: Overseeing the health of local flora through scheduled watering, weeding, pruning, and new planting initiatives.

  • Infrastructure Support: Executing repairs on fencing, signage, and planters; performing basic concreting and constructing community assets (sheds, benches, etc.).

  • Grounds Care: Assisting with large-scale grass cutting and vegetation control using professional-grade machinery.

  • Community Relations: Liaising with residents and transport providers; assisting in the planning and execution of community events.

  • Reporting & Compliance: Monitoring for vandalism or graffiti; completing all digital and physical paperwork, including vehicle checks and daily worksheets.

  • Asset Management: Ensuring all company vehicles, tools, and PPE are maintained to the highest safety standards.
