Key Responsibilities

Gardening & Grounds Maintenance:

• Maintain and enhance the garden in line with seasonal and design expectations

• Plant and nurture trees, flowers, and various plant species

• Prune, trim, mow, weed, fertilize, and mulch as required

• Use and maintain horticultural tools and machinery (e.g., mowers, trimmers)

• Conduct pest control and disease prevention measures

• Ensure gardens and grounds are clean, tidy, and free from debris

• Advise management on planting, care techniques, and cost-effective solutions

Estate Maintenance:

• Carry out general repair tasks such as painting, decorating, and basic plumbing or carpentry

• Replace light bulbs, fuses, and ensure fittings are functional

• Assemble or move furniture and equipment as needed

• Monitor and report any major maintenance issues

• Maintain external areas including driveways, gutters, and waste management

Additional Duties:

• Weekend care and exercise of trained gun dogs (attendance at weekends required)

• Complete ad hoc tasks requested by the family or Estate Director
