£14.18 per hour | 37.5 hours per week (Mon–Fri)

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Grounds Maintenance Operative based in or near Harlow. You will be responsible for maintaining a range of sites to a high standard, ensuring all grounds maintenance services meet client expectations.

This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to work independently, take initiative, and contribute to maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Grass cutting, lawn mowing, and strimming
• Hedge cutting and pruning
• Weeding and general garden maintenance
• Sweeping and keeping sites clean and presentable
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard

Essential Requirements (Mandatory)

• Full clean UK Driving Licence
• Proven experience in grounds maintenance
• Ability to operate horticultural equipment (mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, etc.)
• Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach
