Road Sweeper / Refuse Loader – Brent, London

Pay: £14.10 per hour | 40 hours per week |

We are looking for motivated Road Sweepers / Refuse Loaders in Brent to join our client's growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants to be part of a friendly and professional working environment.

Please note: An early start is essential. You must be available to start work at 5:30 am or earlier, if required.

About the Role

Our client is one of the UK's leading providers of integrated management and maintenance services for residential and commercial areas. They are looking for dependable operatives to help maintain clean, safe and welcoming streets and public spaces.

Working as part of a team, you will play an important role in delivering a high-quality street cleaning and waste management service.

Your Responsibilities

  • Carrying out road sweeping and general external cleaning.

  • Keeping streets, pavements and public areas clean and litter-free.

  • Collecting litter and emptying or changing bins as required.

  • Loading refuse bags and waste safely onto collection vehicles.

  • Helping maintain clean and tidy residential and commercial areas.

  • Following Health and Safety procedures at all times.

  • Working efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

What We're Looking For

  • A reliable and punctual individual with a positive attitude.

  • Availability for very early morning starts, from 5:30 am or earlier.

  • Good physical fitness and the ability to carry out manual work.

  • A willingness to work outdoors in different weather conditions.

  • The ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.

  • An understanding of safe working practices.

  • Someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining high standards.

Previous experience in road sweeping, street cleaning, refuse collection or a similar role would be an advantage.
