Job Title: Maintenance Foreman/Supervisor
Reporting To: Contracts Manager
Prime Job Purpose:
To carry out work professionally and efficiently, exceeding customer and management expectations.
Salary £32-38.5k depending on experience.
Working hours 7.30 – 4.30. Willing to leave earlier to get to London sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing the workforce, setting targets, and ensuring completion of necessary documentation
- Provide effective leadership to team members
- Maintain depot housekeeping standards and oversee maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- Ensure timely completion of work according to specifications
- Support Supervisor and Contracts Manager effectively
- Understand contract documentation and billing systems
- Develop, delegate, and monitor team members under your supervision
Main Tasks:
- Supervise daily tasks of teams, allocate workloads, and maintain work standards
- Ensure quality of service within your area of operation
- Perform various maintenance tasks such as grass cutting, weeding, litter picking, and chemical application
- Deliver exceptional customer service and foster strong relationships with clients
- Manage contracts profitably and effectively, ensuring delivery of margins
- Uphold company values and Health & Safety procedures
- Communicate significant issues to Senior Contracts Manager promptly
- Exceed customer expectations and maintain a positive attitude at all times
- Wear appropriate corporate clothing and present vehicles and machinery professionally
- Adhere to company systems and policies, especially related to Health & Safety
- Maintain reliability in attendance and follow company procedures during absences
- Control costs and avoid wastage while being efficient and organized
- Identify and suggest improvements for enhanced productivity
- Ensure security of company assets and materials
