Job Description

Office Manager

Full-time | £48,000 per annum

Are you an organised, proactive, and people-oriented professional looking for a dynamic role

in a thriving company? We are seeking an Office Manager to become the backbone of our

operations, driving efficiency, fostering a positive workplace culture, and playing a pivotal

role in maintaining our industry-leading standards.

Why Join?

• Career Growth: We invest in your professional development with tailored training

and learning opportunities.

• Work-Life Balance: Enjoy 20 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays, your

birthday off, and extra holiday accrual with service.

• Wellbeing Support: Access to a Health Cash Plan, Employee Assistance

Programme, and Cycle to Work Scheme.

• Team Spirit: Regular social events, team-building activities, and a supportive,

collaborative environment.

Your Role at a Glance:

As the Office Manager, you will oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring everything

runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be the go-to person for office management matters, lead

continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

If you thrive on variety, enjoy juggling multiple responsibilities, and take pride in creating a

well-organised, welcoming workspace — this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Front of House & Administration:

• Be the face of the office: greet visitors, manage calls, and handle enquiries.

• Coordinate travel arrangements, book meetings, and manage office calendars.

• Prepare for board and management meetings, including minute-taking and

distribution.

Operations & Compliance:

• Develop and implement standard operating procedures.

• Manage the process and renewal of accreditations (ISO, BALI, CHAS, LI,

Constructionline).

• Maintain supplier and asset records, working closely with the finance team for

accurate reporting.

Facilities & Fleet Management:

• Liaise with landlords, service providers, and maintenance teams.

• Ensure the office meets health & safety requirements, manage accident logs, and

handle RIDDOR reporting.

• Oversee fleet management, including servicing, insurance, and claims.

Company Culture & Brand:

• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to maintain brand guidelines.

• Organise team-building activities, social events, and celebrations.

• Manage uniform and branded collateral stock.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in office management or administration.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.

• Experience managing accreditations (e.g. ISO) and compliance processes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• IT-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office software.

• A proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail.

• Experience in the construction or related industry (desirable but not essential).

If you’re ready to take the next step in your career and want to make a tangible impact in a

company that values its people, we’d love to hear from you!

Apply today and help us shape a vibrant, efficient, and supportive workplace.
