🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing

As our new Estimator, you’ll be a key player in our Pre-Construction Team, working to build accurate, competitive, and compelling cost estimates that win projects and shape extraordinary landscapes.

Your responsibilities will include:

📊 Estimating & Pricing
– Analyse drawings and project specs to prepare detailed cost breakdowns using up-to-date pricing strategies.

📦 Supplier & Procurement Coordination
– Source and price materials, negotiate with suppliers, and manage procurement in line with budgets and timelines.

📑 Bid Submissions
– Collaborate with the Pre-Construction Manager to prepare and submit clear, competitive tenders.

🤝 Team Collaboration
– Work closely with site managers, quantity surveyors, and the wider team to ensure smooth handovers from bid to build.

📁 Data & Reporting
– Maintain accurate records and contribute to future estimating strategy through insights and analysis.

🔍 What We’re Looking For

✅ Experience in estimating or procurement, ideally within landscape or construction sectors
✅ Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
✅ Proficiency in estimating and project management software
✅ Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
✅ A solid understanding of landscape construction methods, materials & costs
✅ Confidence in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
